MSN messenger to stop service after June 30th

Say your last good-byes to the MSN Web messenger, as June 30, 2009 will be the last day of its existence.

msn-messengerWorry not (Web messenger fans) – instead, you will be able to experience the company’s new web-based instant messaging (IM) available in Windows Live Hotmail worldwide. Hotmail’s new web-based IM allows users to chat from their Hotmail inbox or contact list, instead of going to MSN Web Messenger.

Users can directly go to the Windows Live People page (also known as ‘your contact list’) at and sign into Messenger to continue instant messaging on the web with Messenger friends.
