Top Fashion Disasters of 2009
Some disasters are natural, some are man-made and some are so outrageous that only our celebs can be responsible for them! Here’s our pick of the top fashion disasters of 2009. Warning: Craziness lies ahead!
Amisha Patel

Frankly, we’ve seen a bit more than we would’ve liked to of Amisha Patel these last few months. Sure, the girl’s in decent shape but we would’ve just taken her word for it. Have you ever heard of something called sleeves, Amisha?
Sherlyn Chopra

Out of concern for Sherlyn’s gravity-defying assets that have been etched into the brains of everyone who ever set eyes on her, we at Fashion Police would humbly like to gift her a button.
It’s a simple but ingenious little invention, Sherlyn. Just ask anyone to sew one on to all your clothes and you will suddenly be blessed with the ability to shield and protect as and when you like. It’ll save you tubes of sun block and foundation and save the rest of the world from being under constant attack by your chest. It’s a win-win situation Sherlyn. Just try it.
Mallika Sherawat

Mallika, we bow to you. You, our lady, are the epitome of courage and if it were up to us, we would add your name to our schools’ history books. For while it takes a certain amount of desperation and shamelessness to wear what you wear, it also takes oodles of courage. The courage to hold your head up high and walk out in clothes that you know will be met with either unstoppable laughter or the visiting card of a psychiatrist. We hope this courage accompanies you through the coming new year and the years to follow. You are an inspiration to us all.
Kangana Ranaut

Another case of mistaken invitations. Kangana thought this was an event honouring all teachers and so she came as a five-year-old kindergarten student.
Rani Mukherjee

In an act of utter desperation, Rani turned up on a TV show in what was basically a tee shirt. To see the wonderful actress resort to such means to promote a movie broke our hearts a little. Rani, next time, just pick a good script, you don’t need to drop your pants to be successful.
